On Tuesday, a court discharged Mr. Dina alongside three other accused persons.
Mr. Dina was murdered in 2009. His killers have not been identified yet.

He was arraigned in 2007 by the former administration of Governor Gbenga Daniel on charges of alleged illegal possession of state government documents. ‎
A High Court in Abeokuta presided by the Ogun State Chief Judge, Olatokunbo Olapade, adopted the Notice of Withdrawal of Appeal filed by the current government of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Mr. Olapade discharged the other three accused persons, namely, Sola Lawal, Durosaro Saheed, and Kehinde Bamgboye, discharged and acquitted.
The state Attorney–General, while tending the Notice of Withdrawal, told the court that the decision to withdraw the case was largely due to the fact that there was no public interest in the case.
