State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) confirmed the attack on IDP camp in Borno State.
According to the agency two female bombers attacked a camp in Dikwa local government area at about 6:30 a.m., and detonated their explosive in the midst of thousands of helpless IDPs.

Satomi Ahmed, the chief of the state agency, told journalists that thirty were killed and seventy-eight people wounded in the attack. He also stated that the lack of a telecommunications network in Dikwa LGA meant that SEMA did not receive word of the attacks until Wednesday morning.
said: “We were not informed of the attacks until this morning Wednesday. As soon as we heard SEMA and NEMA officials were on the scene.  We evacuated seventy-eight injured persons to Maiduguri.”
Rescue workers who took part in evacuating the victims revealed that more than fifty-five people were killed, most of the victims were women and children.
The Boko Haram insurgents also stormed communities in the Damboa local government area on Monday, murdering at least seven people. News of this onslaught is just emerging because of poor phone network in that area.
The Nigerian army has announced today that the troops in an early morning ambush killed some sect members.
Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state recently confirmed the information that the insurgents do not control any community in Borno state.
The Boko Haram fighters also continue attacks on neighbouring countries. Double suicide attack rocked today the village of Nguetchewe in Cameroon, killing at least five residents.
However, the last month apparently was the most peaceful since 2013 year.
